Guild Picnic Benefit

This year's Annual Guild Picnic was held on July 13, 2025, at the rectory and grounds on the Atlantic Ocean. This year's picnic was blessed with a beautiful, sunny day. The afternoon of fellowship, generosity, and delicious food made the day truly special. And best of all, all the support helps us give back — every bite and helping hand makes a difference for local families in need.

This fundraising event helps the Guild fulfill its mission of community outreach - helping local families in our area face hardships.

ST. PETER'S GUILD

The 2025 Guild Officers:
Carol Kane Leonhard, Chair

Linda Seager, Vice Chair

Diane Sanford, Secretary

Jean Demetracopoulos, Treasurer

As part of its community outreach, the St. Peter's Guild is supporting the York Community Action Council (YCAC) again this year  but with a new twist! This community organization provides services such as transportation, food, emergency fuel, etc. to local famiLies in need throughout York County. Prompted by COVID-19, our Guild has decided to donate its current savings to YCAC's "HOPE FUND" on a monthly basis instead of our usual one time donation in late autumn. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO JOIN OR RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP, PLEASE SEND $25 check payable to St. Peter’s Guild to Jean Demetracopoulos at 42 Oldfields Road, South Berwick, ME 03908. For more info on the Guild contact Linda Seager.

          overseeing the ALTAR & FLOWERS

          Flower Arrangements

Flowers on any given Sunday during the summer are given by people who wish to remember their loved ones or a special occasion. Two bouquets are prepared by our local florist Caluna in Ogunquit for $120.00. Tammy Franz-Mallen at 617.962.0246 of the Guild is responsible so please contact her if you wish to have flowers given on a given Sunday. After mass one bouquet is given to the rectory and the second bouquet is given to the person who gave them.

          The Altar at St. Peter's

The Eucharist or Holy Communion is celebrated from the altar.  Taking care of the  Altar is one of the responsibilities of the St. Peter's  Guild.

St. Peter's by the Sea Episcopal / 535 Shore Road (PO Box 693), Cape Neddick, Maine 03902 / 207.361.2030
