Fr. Stuart Dunnan serves as the President of the Board of Trustees (similar to a vestry) which oversees the seasonal St. Peter's by the Sea Episcopal "chapel". It is under his direction and prayerful guidance that St. Peter's has grown over the past years into a vibrant, prayerful community of people who love in the name of Jesus Christ and serve the coastal southern Maine area.
He is the headmaster at St. James School in Hagerstown, Maryland, which is an acclaimed preparatory school (coed) nationally. The school has a choir that travels throughout the U.S. and is well known for its musical talent. He has served the school as headmaster since 1992.
He also is director of Meritus Health, Inc (Chair of Quality Committee), the Community Foundation of Washington County (vice chair), the Family Heritage Trust Co., Drew University (Chair of the Enrollment Management Committee), and a member of the National Headmasters Association.

Fr. Gahan recently retired as rector of Christ Episcopal Church in San Antonio, Texas. He graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a B.S. in Education in 1981. He was awarded his Masters of Divinity from Episcopal Seminary of the Southwest in Austin Texas in 1994. He received his Doctorate of Ministry in 2001 from Seabury-Western Episcopal Seminary in Evanston, Illinois.
Prior to his higher education, Patrick served in the United States military with the rank of Captain.

The Rt. Rev. Gary R. Lillibridge will be our celebrant and preacher during August, September, and October. Both he and his wife, Catherine, are returning for their 14th season with us. Bishop Lillibridge served as Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas for almost 14 years. He retired from that role in June, 2017 and assists with a
The Rt. Rev. Gary R. Lillibridge will be our celebrant and preacher during August, September, and October. Both he and his wife, Catherine, are returning for their 14th season with us. Bishop Lillibridge served as Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas for almost 14 years. He retired from that role in June, 2017 and assists with a group known as The Workshop (based in San Antonio but serving the whole Church) where he teaches, writes, and develops and leads continuing education opportunities for clergy and laity.
He brings 37 years of ordination and congregational ministry to us, and also serves as a member of St. Peter's Board of Trustees. He is a 1982 graduate of Virginia Theological Seminary, and he and Catherine have 3 adult children who visit each season.

The Rt. Rev. Thomas Brown, Bishop of the Diocese of Maine, will preach and Celebrate the Eucharist on Sunday, August 18th at the 10 am service. A reception and brunch will follow in the newly renovated rectory and on the scenic lawn.
Bishop Brown was ordained and consecrated as the 10th Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Maine on June 22, 2019.
