MEMORIAL GARDEN

A PLACE OF PEACE AND PRAYER+

The Memorial Garden at St. Peter's by the Sea Episcopal  is consecrated ground.  It is the only one of its kind in coastal southern Maine.  This sacred ground remains a viable and  attractive alternative to proprietary cemeteries in the area.

A BEAUTIFUL RESTING PLACE

The grounds are always under the professional and loving care by local gardener Jean Husby.  A continued planting program to add new flowering plants each year has created a very serene and fragrant garden on the hill adjoining the Church of St. Peter's.

CELTIC CROSS A SIGN OF JOY

Many walk through the Memorial Garden and enjoy the peacefulness while others prefer to sit on one of the benches to meditate  or pray.  A monument displays the names of those who are interred here. The Celtic cross is a reminder of who we are and whom we keep our strength in  highlighting  the Garden.
